Parking Rules

Here are the basic rules for parking here at La Rivera

  • Garages are intended for vehicles only.
  • You are not allowed to use your garage for your business, home gym, man cave, etc.
    • The current HOA doesn’t want to dictate how you live your life, but if you are electing to use your garage for something that is not your car… you are not entitled to a parking pass.
  • Parking passes are given to people that apply for them and that need them.
    • If you have a garage and a driveway - you technically have 4 parking spaces (2 in the garage, 2 in your driveway) In this scenario, your 5th car would establish a need for a parking pass
    • If you do not have a driveway – you technically have 2 parking spaces (2 in the garage) In this scenario, your 3rd car would establish a need for a parking pass
  • Exceptions for oversized vehicles are examined on a case-by-case basis
  • Parking passes will only be given to vehicles registered to the La Rivera application address

Please note:

These points of for quick reference and ease of use – they do not fully cover all text in the CC&Rs – please be sure to read your CC&Rs carefully. If there is any conflict between these bullet points and the CC&Rs, the CC&Rs will prevail in all cases.
